Veeam Software’s New Platform Announcement
The need for backup and replication has become a crucial investment for every business and their success. With ransomware on the rise every year, your data has become more vulnerable than ever before. If you don’t have multiple copies of your data, your chance of losing valuable information dramatically increases. Danny Allan, CTO and vice president of product strategy at Veeam, stated that over the last 12 months, 85% of organizations were attacked at least once from ransomware. That’s an increase of 9% from the previous year. This led to some businesses losing information they couldn’t get back because of not having a backup plan in place. Cyberattacks are becoming an everyday challenge that businesses have to face–especially ransomware, due to cybercriminals continuous advancement. No matter what industry you are in, you probably use some kind of technology to get your daily tasks done. Due to all the data that is stored on those devices, one of the smartest investments you can make is obtaining a backup plan before it’s too late. With v12 finally launching, there is no reason to worry about losing your data ever again! V12 is ransomware-proofed with a simple, powerful, and affordable data protection solution.

Often, backup strategies are inconsistent, poorly documented, and misunderstood. This misunderstanding stems from a widespread expectation that backups must exist, must be readily available at a moment’s notice, and must be restored immediately, regardless of size. When backup and DR practices are not documented, management will not only believe they exist, but that they will be good, consistent, and current (possibly up to the minute). It is therefore critical to document your organization’s backup strategy and practices. Veeam provides organizations with resiliency through data security, data recovery and data freedom for their hybrid cloud. The Veeam Data Platform delivers a single solution for Cloud, which will give businesses peace of mind knowing that their apps and data are protected and always available so that they can keep their businesses running.
